Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana 2025 is a centrally sponsored flagship scheme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. It provides maternity benefits up to ₹11,000 to pregnant women and lactating mothers belonging to socially and economically weaker sections. Under the scheme, women receive ₹5,000 in two installments for the first live child, along with an additional Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) incentive, and ₹6,000 for the second child if it is a girl, encouraging institutional deliveries, proper nutrition, and girl child welfare.
