HP TET is an eligibility test and does not have fixed vacancies. Qualified candidates become eligible to apply for teaching posts as per state recruitment notifications.

Educational Qualification:

• TGT (Arts, Medical, Non-Medical): Graduation in relevant subject with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed.
• JBT (Primary Teacher): 12th with 50% marks + 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) OR Graduation with D.El.Ed.
• Language Teacher / Shastri / Punjabi / Urdu: Graduation in relevant subject + B.Ed / equivalent qualification.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: No upper age limit
• Age relaxation applicable as per rules

• Written Examination: 150 MCQs, 150 marks, 2.5 hours duration, no negative marking.
• Qualifying Marks: 60% for General; relaxation for reserved categories.
• Certificate issued on qualifying. Validity: Lifetime.

HP TET itself does not provide a salary as it is only an eligibility test. However, qualifying candidates can apply for government teaching posts which come with:

• Salary as per 7th CPC Pay Scale for teachers
• Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Travel Allowance (TA)
• Medical facilities and pension benefits
• Job security and career growth opportunities

2. Go to the “TET” section and select HP TET November 2025.
3. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number.
4. Fill the application form carefully.
5. Upload scanned photo, signature, and documents.
6. Pay the application fee online.
7. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
